To celebrate the opening of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (STEAM) lab, the school hosted a STEAM showcase for parents on February. The STEAM lab, which opened on January 15, complements the three existing science labs. Although it is located in the lower school building, students of all grade levels may use the STEAM lab. Parents also had the opportunity to visit the new mechatronics lab and renovated lower school and upper school computer labs which opened in August. During the showcase, students in grades 3-12 demonstrated a wide variety of STEAM skills such as working with electronic circuits, dissecting crawfish, and creating Google slides. Students also demonstrated microscope analysis, used computer assisted design for yearbook layouts, and exhibited VEX and LEGO robotics. In the various labs, parents were able to observe students conducting experiments regarding magnetism, buoyancy, mixture separation, and rockets.
