The Class of 2017, the 47th graduating class, joins 2,338 people who proudly count themselves among the ranks of our school's alumni.
Many of our alumni choose to return to Sumter after they finish college to start their careers and raise their families. As a matter of fact, 213 of our graduates are “legacies,” or children of alumni, and over 200 of our current students are children of alumni. Alumni serve on the PTO Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees and the Athletic Association Board of Directors, and 16 of our faculty members are alumni.
Homecoming was September 29, 2017.
Classes who are organizing a reunion are encouraged to contact the school for assistance in organizing reunion events on campus. Please contact Leigh Edmunds McLaurin ’92 at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance in planning an on-campus reunion event.
The Class of ’07 is planning a reunion for the weekend of October 27, 2017.
The Classes of 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2006 had a reunion the weekend of September 29, and the Class of ’82 gathered the weekend of October 20.
