Accreditation

Wilson Hall holds dual accreditation through SAIS (Southern Association of Independent Schools) & COGNIA (formerly AdvancedED/SACS). Accreditation is a critical process by which independent schools are governed and serves as one component of a school’s demonstrated effectiveness and ability to provide successful schooling for children. To earn accreditation, Wilson Hall complied with quality standards, was evaluated by an outside group of peer professionals, and identified strategic goals for the future.

Our accreditation team comprised an impressive group of independent school leaders with well-established careers and who represent several preeminent institutions. Accreditation is an endorsement and validation of Wilson Hall's strategic direction and approach to education.

Cognia nationally recognizes schools that meet rigorous standards that focus on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation for meeting the needs of learners, and effective leadership. It is widely considered to be the "gold standard" of quality assessment for schools and school districts. Wilson Hall's voluntary participation is a reflection of our commitment to excellence, our recognition of the value of external review and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve.
