Students had fun in the March Enrichment Activities Program, diving into all-sports, resin, and sewing. Whether they were scoring points, crafting colorful resin creations, or stitching up something fun, there was no shortage of creativity and excitement. Held after school for Preschool 3 - 5th grade, this program gives students the chance to explore their interests with four week-long activities each month. These hands-on, hour-long sessions include exciting options like 3-D printing, art, ceramics, and cooking, with new activities added regularly to keep things fresh. April’s lineup promises even more fun with chess, LEGOs, and robotics. Coordinated by Mrs. Brooke Tidwell, Director of Auxiliary Programs, this program keeps young minds engaged and eager to learn.
Preschool 3 & 4 students participated in a Polar Express enrichment activity after school. Students used wrapping paper and ribbons to decorate boxes to create train cars before riding in the 23-year-long Baron Express. Some students wrote letters to Santa, made toys for Santa’s workshop, and filled out elf applications, while others made ornaments, sang Christmas songs, and did the Christmas Freeze Dance. Students made marshmallows dipped in chocolate to take home, and they enjoyed sipping on hot chocolate and eating popcorn while watching the movie The Polar Express. Mrs. Emma Wynn Brown and Mrs. Ashley Wake led the activity.
