Parent Teacher Organization

As a representative body of Wilson Hall parents and teachers, the Parent-Teacher Organization sponsors programs, events, and services that benefit the students of the school. The seven officers, seven committee chairpersons, and three school representatives meet monthly to conduct school business.

The PTO sponsors major events, such as the Fall Festival and Field Day, and has committees for hospitality and landscaping. The PTO financially supports the performing and visual arts programs, yearbook, and student organizations such as the Chess Teams, Debate Teams, and Quiz Bowl Teams.

PTO Service Project

Giving with heart! Students from Preschool 3 - 5th grade came together to donate money for 28 duffle bags filled with essentials like toiletries, robes, towels, throw blankets, and Walmart gift cards for residents of Crosswell Home for Children. This meaningful project was made possible by the efforts of our PTO.

Faculty Appreciation

Fueling our day with gratitude! Just one of the many ways our amazing PTO shows their appreciation for the faculty—arranging complimentary coffee & drinks from Roast 'n Roll, delivered straight to our classrooms & offices. Thank you, PTO, for keeping us energized and feeling appreciated.

Mother & Son Bowling Bash

Gathering at Gamecock Lanes the afternoon of November 4, boys in Preschool 3-5th grade and their mothers and special guests bowled for two hours during the 2nd Annual Mother & Son Bowling Bash. The entire bowling alley, with 24 lanes, was rented for the event in which 72 families participated. In addition to bowling, the guests enjoyed refreshments and playing games. The event, sponsored by the PTO, was coordinated by Mrs. Stacy Montgomery.

Fall at the Hall

Superheroes, princesses, pop stars and literary characters were among the over 800 people who took over Spencer Field for Fall at the Hall, the annual Fall Festival. Sponsored by the PTO, the event included a wide variety of games, costume & pumpkin decorating contests, pony rides, dunking booth and haunted house. There were numerous inflatables, such as an obstacle course, bouncy house, basketball and football tosses. Face painting, gaga ball, inflatable bumper balls, bake sale, and concessions were also featured. The proceeds from the event are used by the PTO to fund the many programs and projects it funds for the school. Mrs. Kristy Bass was the chair and Mrs. Ashley Whittington the co-chair of the event, and Mrs. Chrissy Hutto is the PTO President.

Field Day was held on Spencer Field on May 28 for students in grades 1-5. Wearing class t-shirts, students participated in over a dozen activities such as the sack race and the obstacle course, culminating in the fifth grade tug-of-war. To cool off, students enjoyed Kona Ice.  Sponsored by the PTO, the event was coordinated by Mrs. Nancy Lee Zimpleman who was assisted by Mrs. Kelly Carter and over three dozen parent volunteers.

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Over 300 guests enjoyed the second annual Daddy-Daughter Dance held in the Nash Student Center on February 29. Girls in Preschool 3 through fifth grade invited their fathers, relatives, or special friends to escort them to the dance, which had music provided by a professional D.J. Mrs. Stacy Montgomery, PTO President, and fellow PTO Board members provided the flowers, decorations, refreshments and photo booth for the event.
